Electronic Travel Auth (App) Status Information

Check the status of your Canadian travel authorization (AID) application using the form below to find out if your application is still valid, has expired, or has been denied. Once granted, an application is valid for five years or until the expiration date of your passport, whichever comes first. If you have received a new passport since your last application, you will need to apply again to travel. Applications can be submitted online and are typically approved within minutes.

Travelers are advised to apply at least one week before departure to Canada. If you recently applied for an application and the application status is showing as "Not Found," please allow a few hours for it to be processed before checking again. Please ensure the information you provide is correct. If after four weeks you still have not received a decision on your application, please contact our support team for assistance.
