eTA
Canada has put in place a web-based verification system for visa-exempt foreign nationals known as electronic travel authorization (eTA). The launch of this program is one of many initiatives that the Canadian government carries out as part of a joint agreement with the United States to better protect its borders.
Foreigners from the following countries need an eTA before boarding their flight to Canada as of March 15, 2016:

You can enter Canada as many times as you like for 5 years from the date your eTA is issued or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.
Remember, throughout the eTA application process you must tell the truth and provide complete and correct information.
